My vote for top comedy that was not meant to be that funny:

What's eating Gilbert Grape?

Yes.  If you wouldn't have known Leonardo DiCaprio was mentally challenged, you would think he was from this role...well...now that I think about it...with all his Global WarmingTM hypocricy...he might actually be....

For sheer enjoyment:

Fierce Creatures
Groundhog Day
LOTR: Two Towers
The Princess Bride
Dr. Strangelove, or How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb
Gladiator
Return of the Jedi
The Meaning of Life
Braveheart
The Sixth Sense

Some of these films aren't really good....just enjoyable.  All the Monty Python films fit that category, as well as a lot of science fiction films, like the matrix movies, the harry potter films, eragon...Now if we're talking about good films, it's a totally different list.

1.  O Brother Where Art Thou?
2.  The Usual Suspects
3.  Godfather
4.  Godfather II
5.  Godfather III (even liked this one no matter what critics say)
6.  Tootsie
7.  Young Guns
8.  Back to the Future
9.  The Karate Kid
10.  The Untouchables

I am sure I could think of a lot more.

Nice, I like your inclusion of O Brother Where Art Thou!!

My top ten would probably have to be:

1) American History X (very graphic, but has a powerful story)
2) The Godfather Part II
3) Walk the Line
4) Band of Brothers (I know it's not a movie, but it was an irregular HBO special)
5) Saving Private Ryan
6) Forest Gump
7) The Godfather Part I
8) O Brother Where Art Thou? (makes my sides split after laughing all the way through)
9) The Score
10) Ray

Too many good ones to put into just one list of 10, haha.
