The only way you can avoid those is to not read there replies and definitely not respond to them if you do.  As far as moderators go if you are being warned by them it would be wise to take heed to what they ask of you. If they are just responding to something you disagree with each other on and not moderating then you just do as explained above.

I am not sure if the warning was for me as I was standing up for a friend and do not believe I was flaming as all I asked the guy to do was apologize.

If you go back to the thread you are speaking of, it was clarified that it was meant to be aimed at everyone in the thread.

As far as ignoring posters, or whomever, don't let a message board get your blood boiling.  Life is too short to get that angry from a message board.

Yes he explained it to me and I apologized to him.  I get more angry at me that I can't give the correct answers, and the ones I do give are wrong and that gives them more ammo against me.  I am just going to have to keep praying for GOD;s guidence.
