A View From the Hill Top

[anchorman]

Everyone knows how hard times are, how bad the economy is... at least I thought I knew all about it. This week I have been visiting my parents in Michigan. You come here and you're exposed to whole different level of pain. People are really hurting here. That is the topic of this week's Off the Wahl Essay called; A View From the Hill Top. http://offthewahl.wordpress.com/

If I was in Michigan I would be hurting too--from the cold.  Anyway, not wanting to downplay the pain others are going through (financial, physical, or emotional), people are hurting everywhere. My body hurts from my neck down to my feet, and I have more medical bills than I can afford to pay. I've had to cut down on food in a feeble effort to pay my bills.
