I just saw a private screening of a trailer for a movie film composer Michael J Lewis is developing, all about love and sacrifice and forgiveness and it got me thinking about how stories can change our lives.  Can find more about the movie here (Link deleted per rule 3.3 You must have 20 or more posts first)  Unfortunately you can't see the trailer I watched cuz they don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but you can see their music video on youtube (Link deleted per rule 3.3 You must have 20 or more posts first)

Amazing Grace
The Left Behind Trilogy (even though they did not stick to the far better books)
Facing the Giants/ Fireproof
The Robe
The 10 Commandments (all versions including the 1920's silent version)
most JESUS movies (do not include horrible movies like The last Temptation and Godsong (or whatever that was))
Oh I do include JESUS CHRIST Superstar as a good one

Left Behind
Woman Thou Art Loosed.

Another vote here for Amazing Grace.  I also enjoyed the Chronicles of Narnia movies.  The themes in the first one were obvious; the second also included Christian elements, including a scene that wasn't in the books (Peter's temptaion). Also, The Gospel of John.

I would like to see The Gospel of John.  So would you recomend it, By the way I can't believe I forgot the Add the Narnia and LOTR movies.  put them in my favorites.

My favorite is "One Night With The King". The acting is great, the Scenery is great, it's the story of Esther so the story is great, and he lady who plays Esther is very beautiful, so that's a plus.

I liked it better than the other movies I've seen about Jesus.  The guy who plays Desmond on Lost plays Jesus, and I think he's very good at communicating attitude and emotion.  The woman at the well scene is probably my favorite.

Really?  I'll have to check it out.  You've got cred on the movie recommendations after "Henry Poole is Here".
