Can anyone give me some advice on this business tool, or hookup? I have received an invitation from a trusted sister in the Lord to become part of their professional network at LinkedIn.

I am presently retired, do not plan on career opportunities, and have no investment interests. Is there any advantage to me in joining, or possible disadvantage to her? She was a head in Bank of America, now in other commerce and I'm sure has need of such business connections.

Thanks for any advice, or experience you've had with them.

I am a member, Larry, it is sort of the facebook of professionals.  It is a little more tightly run though, also a bit more secure, IMHO.  Being retired would not hurt anybody by having them as a connection, and you may be able to reconnect with some former co-workers if you so choose.

In Christ,
KP

Thank you dear brother for your kind assistance; now I can rest easy.   ::sleepingsoundly::   Been wanting reason to use that avatar.   ::smile::
