Hi, I'm looking for a Christian Game Programmer to take over development of my interactive online NHL Hockey PC Card Game and development site. I have a playable demo but my current programmer no longer has time to finish what I started a few years ago. Would also be happy to develop a generic version for people to play on this website if possible. So it's just for personal enjoyment, not for hire but of course will share proceeds equally should it ever generate revenue. Thanks if you can help or know someone who can?

For the software version, the following features are being incorporated:

System Requirements
For the software version of Card Hockey, the following minimum system requirements are being designed for:

a) WindowsTM 98, ME, 2000, XP or Vista operating system
b) DirectX 8.1 or higher (included in recent versions of WindowsTM)
c) 128 MB RAM
d) 30 MB free hard-drive space
e) 3D video card, capable of running in 1024x768 with 32-bit color
f) Internet connection (only needed to play online against others)

Development Information:

The software version of Card Hockey is being developed as a WindowsTM application.  Brian has 14 years of professional C/C++ programming experience.  For Card Hockey, we're using the following tools:

a) Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 - for all programming, which is done in C++
b) Microsoft DirectX SDK - for hardware-accelerated graphic API libraries
c) STLPort - for a clean, efficient implementation of the C++ Standard Template Library
d) Paint Shop Pro - for graphic editing
e) InstallShield - for installer development
f) Perforce - for versioning and source control
g) Microsoft Word - for documents

Also created simple demo apps running on both Mac and iPod.

Hardware-accelerated graphics, using DirectX, for smooth high-quality.

Card Hockey is developed in a modular fashion, using object-oriented techniques. The high-level architecture is represented by the following files which are being developed for the Card Hockey product:

a) CardHockey.exe - the main game executable
b) CHUtil.dll - Card Hockey specific utility code
c) CHOnline.dll - online communication code
d) GenUtil.dll - general utility code
e) DataFileTool.exe - the application to create/edit data files (leagues, decks, UI) used by the main game executable Server and Online functionality
