Hello, I just joined today and great bunch of fellows here. God bless all.

I am little concerned about spams in form of multiple posts by the same individual all over the forum. I can understand it, since I too moderate of the largest software forums out there .

God help.

Hi bijujohn and welcome. We too have spammers, solicitors, and trolls making multiple posts. We also have many members aware of their methods that give us feed back, and they are of great value.

Once a spam is detected we have the method of searching "Show the last posts of this person" on their profile, and they are busted. It then takes but a few seconds to either remove their post or delete it, as well as subsequent posts.

The economy is rough out there for many, and I'm sure with the least amount of success on any forum their efforts won't cease. Our rules prohibit self promotion of sites, and are heavily moderated; I don't even give the link to the Online church I attend, though I do post several pasted messages I have transcribed, while giving credit to the author only. If we did otherwise our forum would have little less that advertising instead of giving out God's word.

I hope you enjoy your time with us, and benefit in the things of God as you share with us. May God bless your time with us to our mutual edification in Jesus' name, and it's good to have you with us.

Thanks larry2 for the warm welcome and hope to benefit with the things of God. Stay blessed in grace!
