Summer Vacation

Most of my family spent last week together on the beautiful Oregon coast.  As I sat watching the rhythm of the waves each day roll in to a high tide, then recede to a low tide several hours later, I could not help but marvel at the order and dependability of my God's systems and standards for His great creation.

The scenery about us for miles there, was beautiful;  and indeed such beauty and form and function, is displayed everywhere in nature by the determinate counsel of God, in all of creation on earth and the universe.  What a God we have!

I also enjoyed time reading in that very revealing book: More Than A Carpenter, by Josh and Sean McDowell, which so clearly glorifies God.  I recommend all serious seekers of God read this.

The vacation there with my family was precious, and the time of reflection on my God and His blesssings was inspiring.
