I have no predictions but I sure have seen a lot of "comedians" using this to ridicule god.

The 49ers are going to win.  NFC west is going to represent.  Look at what the 49ers have done against their opponents.  The NFC is obviously better than the AFC.  They killed in the pro bowl last week.

I'm rooting for the bears.  Not the team...  ACTUAL bears.  The game would be so much more interesting if escaped circus bears broke in and started mauling the players.  Maybe the lions as well.

This will be 47 in a row that I have NOT watched. (other than the constant barrage of clips afterward)   I have little interest in the NFL or the old AFL. I do watch the occasional college football game (GO Spartans!) but not a fan of the pros.

Besides, with everyone else glued to their tv sets, you can do a lot of shopping or visiting the Smithsonian exhibits.  You can actually find parking spaces in downtown DC and that NEVER happens.

Well we did not go shopping or museum visiting.  We got a call and 2 of our granddaughters came over for a few hours.  Besides that we watched a Star Trek Next Gen marathon from the BBC America channel.  The girls (age 5 and 6.5) seemed interested in STNG but at the end of the episode wanted to watch an old videotape of Raggedy Ann and Andy.

We had fun!

The Superbowl is the convocation of the religious in a once a year ceremony that preceeds all other religious ceremonies.  The entire country drops everything it's doing to worship the great football god.

It's filled with pagentry and much hullabaloo.
