But I have to say that the REAL champion of the season was Michigan State.  (final official rank #3)

HA, you hit a soft spot indeed. I am a Seminoles fan, by location, but I went to OSU and was devastated by their finish to the season. Congrats anyway--I still gotta root for the Big 10 for strength of conference.
