Call Me Charae - Glad To Be Here!

Hello. I just registered today and wanted to briefly introduce myself.
My user name Charae is what I use everywhere on the internet (so I can remember it  ) - it is a combination of my first name and middle name ... Charlotte Rae, and I even have it on my car license plates (uh oh, vanity raises its head  ).
I'm very happy to find a Christian forum. I don't mind that people have differing opinions, but I find that on Facebook (where folks find me from time to time) there is a lot of personal abuse when one has an opinion different from that of another.
Being from southwest Missouri in what is known as the "Bible Belt", you can pretty much be sure that I am a conservative in politics and lifestyle. However, that is not what defines me. It's much more important that I am a Christian and know Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord. I'm hoping to make some good friends here and look forward to getting to know many of you.
