The real reason we have gay people npw days is we as the church or society in general has been patting people on the back and telling them it's ok. The church needs to grow a pair and stand firm in its position that being gay is wrong and it destroys lives. You figure by now gay people would be liberated with marriage equality, rights, discrimantion laws. But instead they made themselves slaves. Giving privilege to sexual behavior by law sets a dangerous precedent for others committing to deviant sexual behaviors to become emboldened and demand equal rights based on that precedent.

It is not okay to be gay, but the multitudes of equality encouraging liberalists tell them "it's okay to express who you are". We're drinking, we're smoking, we're having premarital sex with birth control, before we go to work and sometimes boss around a bunch of men."

It's what was called by a term I first heard in the late 1980's; the Queering of America. The idea was to impose upon society the promiscuous morals that is the norm with homosexuals upon the rest of us, so they. the LGBT, seem normal & wholesome when compared with mainstream society. But with hindsight we can now state unequivocally that it was not & know now that it is an agenda by the social engineers.

This agenda to re-engineer our society goes back decades.  Norman Dodd made a report way back in 1954 to Congress. He was commissioned by a Congressional Committee called the Reese Commission. One of the two greatest commandments given by Christ in the new testament is to love thy neighbor, Christ does not say to love thy neighbor only if they are sinless. If you only love those that love you what reward is there.
The old testament covenant is dead, our covenant is the new testament. The law is dead, grace is alive. I encourage everyone to read the new testament from front to back, and again and again and again and with each reading we rise to a higher level of spiritual understanding of the new covenant.

The difference between our sins and that of one living in sexual immorality is that of repentance and the asking of forgiveness for our sins.

I've only ever seen that in the movies. Of course we must share the truth in love, but it is generally not the Christian that is offended by the truth, it is the hearer of the truth that becomes offended and blames the Christian.
Try your best to be subtle with your approach on this subject, it becomes abrasive very quickly.

You got to the root of it in your first sentence.  Whether it's wrong or right, permissable or impermissable, those issues are all secondary.

The real issue is... the Federal government isn't suppose to be able to legislate morality!  Does it matter what the judge says, when the judge is illegitimate according to his own laws?

This world couldn't care less about what God says or wants for our lives. Very few of us follow the words "We ought to obey God rather than men." This world (including the US) has turned its back on God and on morality. Good is now being called evil, and evil is being called good. Sin is now accepted and called normal, and anyone who says otherwise is called a hater, a bigot, prejudiced, and homophobic if it concerns same-gender sex and marriage. We're hearing "Everyone has a right to be happy." NO one, though, has a right to live in sin and call themselves Christians--like my daughter who is "engaged" to another woman and says, "I'm a Christian." Being a Christian and living in sin are not compatible. I love my daughter unconditionally, and that will never change. She knows, however, that I will never accept her lifestyle as normal. I pray that God will get through to her since I never will, and that she and my younger daughter will both accept Christ while they can; they are 42 and 44. Where did I go wrong? Only God knows.

I think it's only fair to make a distinction between being gay and acting on it.  No one has ever proved where/how sexuality is formed, but for some people (sometimes due to abuse or exposure to the wrong things in childhood), some people are tempted toward their own gender.   Temptation of itself isn't wrong - it's what you do with that.  Not everyone who has same sex attraction is cleared/healed of it - some have to make a choice to live a celibate life.   Please don't condemn those who have made that choice as being somehow 'wrong'.   There is a big difference.
