The Ottoman Empire which was made possible by the conquests of Mehmed the Conqueror of the sultans of Turkey, unified Islam in the European world after they conquered the Byzantine Empire of Constantinople.   Although there were Islamic conquests which predated the rise of the Turks, Mehmed the Conqueror did make all of the Byzantine Empire into his Ottoman Empire.  The star crescent flag, which now represents Islam, was never a representation of Islam pre-Ottoman Empire.  The 'hilal', or the 'Star and Crescent moon' pre-dates Islam by about 2000 years. It appears, for instance, on the seals and decorations of the Moabites, of Israel, at about 1500BC.

-------------------------------

Although Mehmed the Conqueror was Turkish and although he was encouraged to study Islam while growing up, he refused and set out for his own adventures and still kept to his heterodox rules..

Before the rise and rule of the Ottoman Empire, homosexuality was very prohibited by Islam.  It was known as 'haram' or 'prohibited'.  And I do believe that the Muslims did keep to the prescriptions handed down to them by the verbal teachings of Muhammad, their Prophet.  Although Muhammad was 'illiterate', his words which he recited were penned down or were memorized by his followers, (disciples).  The rise of the finished book of the Qu'ran is dated around 20 years after the death of Muhammad.  The process of canonization ended under the third caliph, Uthman ibn Affan (r. 644–655), which was about twenty years after the death of Muhammad.

Even during the early years of 644-655 A.D. Islam was not under Ottoman rule.  The year 1453 is when the Byzantine Empire was conquered by the Ottomans.   Mehmed the Conqueror lived between 1432 to 1481.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Mehmed the Conqueror was questioned on his sexual grounds as if whether or not he was a homosexual.

And strangely we see homosexuality rise in Islam, even though the early Muslims were pro Quran and anti homosexuality, within the lives of Muslims after the first Ottoman Empire.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another strange thing to note is this:  The Star-Crescent Moon, or 'hilal' has a very similar spelling to the Hebrew's word for Lucifer found in Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"

helel meaning :  a shining one

which has ties with the word 'halal'

Please remember that the 'hilal', or 'Star-Crescen't Moon' predates Islam, Ottomans, and Byzantines. In fact in may have inferences to the ancient forms of 'moon and celestial hosts' forms of worshiping...

Baal' would be another 'pagan god' mentioned in GOD'S Holy Bible.

Baal
lord

The name appropriated to the principal male god of the Phoenicians. It is found in several places in the plural BAALIM. Baal is identified with Molech ( Jeremiah 19:5 ). It was known to the Israelites as Baal-peor was worshipped till the time of Samuel, and was afterwards the religion of the ten tribes in the time of Ahab .....  ? ........ It prevailed also for a time in the kingdom of Judah, till finally put an end to by the severe discipline of the Captivity. The priests of Baal were in great numbers, and of various classes. The sun-god, under the general title of Baal, or "lord," was the chief object of worship of the Canaanites. Each locality had its special Baal, and the various local Baals were summed up under the name of Baalim, or "lords." Each Baal had a wife, who was a colourless reflection of himself.

Boy, what a strange definition biblestudytools.com gives...

They forgot to mention how the Prophet Elijah dealt with the prophets of Baal.

1 Kings 18:25-40

"And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under. 26And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made. 27And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. 28And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. 29And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded."

30  "And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down. 31And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name: 32And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. 33And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. 34And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. 35And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water."

36  "And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. 38Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 39And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God. 40And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And that is why in Hosea 2:16, it is written:

"And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali."

Ishi = great, mighty man, he, high degree, him that is, husband, mankind
Baali = my master; Baali, a symbolical name for Jehovah.......?.......

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They shall call Him 'husband' and not ruler.

John 4:17

"The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:"

Numbers 30:13

"Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void."

The Commandment given in Numbers 30:13 can work both ways.

If the husband desires to 'afflict' the wife, this Commandment allows it.

And also, if the husband should desire to make it void, this Commandment also allows it.

Women really ought to be 'EXTRA' careful on who they marry and hand such privileges and rights to.

Cheating Statistics: Do Men Cheat More Than Women?

Cheating statistics in the United States are increasing every year at an amazing rate. Long lasting marriages or relationships seem to be harder to achieve and even rare.

About 17 percent of divorces are caused by infidelity! That's an amazing number, considering there are so many other reasons for divorce ...

About 70 percent of married men admitted to cheating on their wives! Another study found that 2/3 of women are not aware of their husband's affair. I can relate to that — It took a long time until I found out myself — when I decided to check his phone.

What about the women? Most statistics found that about 50 to 60 percent of women admitted to having an affair. This one really shocked me. Are there really millions of cheating women in the states? I never even imagined these statistics.
