The above video is a clip from what appears to be a good and informative take on American history apart from all the revisionist crap being preached today. I'm going to get the video and find out.

Old thread, but the original poster is on the nail. The KJV Bible was the Bible of the early American colonies, as the earliest ancestors from Europe that formed the American colonies came mostly from Britain. So does anyone want to argue that colonial America was not originally a British colony?

Not only were the majority of the American colonials from Britain, but they also were Protestant Christians, not followers of other faiths (Catholics, Mormons, Deists, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, etc.).

God is Who made colonial America a Christian colony, and thus a Christian nation.

Per Bible prophecy, the United States of America represents Ephraim's elder brother Manasseh. And Ephraim is represented by Great Britain as head, to include the rest of the early European Christian nations. When Lord Jesus said that He was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the 'house of Israel', He was pointing to the scattered ten lost tribes of Israel that God scattered out of the holy land first, and they went captive to Assyria never to return. The ten tribes would migrate westward through the Caucasus Mountains above the Black Sea, along with the Scythian tribes afterwards, and found the later nations of Asia Minor and Europe. When Jesus was rejected at Jerusalem, The Gospel then went to those ten lost tribes scattered in the West, and thus became the historical western Christian nations.

That fulfilled the "multitude of nations" prophecy that Ephraim's seed was to become (per Genesis 48). Ephraim is thus represented by the nations of Great Britain and its daughter nations of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

On the Great Seal of the United States, represented by 13 stripes on the shield, 13 stars, 13 olive branches, 13 arrows, are symbols of the 13 original colonies of early America. Likewise with the pyramid foundation are 13 stones. The 13th tribe of Israel is represented by Manasseh. The number of tribes of Israel were 12 with Joseph, but became 13 with Joseph's two sons Ephraim and Manasseh. Though Manasseh was the elder, and the birthright was to go to him, his younger brother Ephraim was chosen instead, and Ephraim replaced Joseph in the birthright. The addition of Manasseh among the 12 tribes then made it 13 tribes of Israel.

So for anyone to saying that the United States of America was never a Christian nation does not know their Bible prophecy, nor history.
