Adam was talking with God, from the very beginning, in the garden of Eden. There was a conversation. God was talking with man, from the time of creation of man.

Abraham was called a friend of God. Friends talk, and they have fellowship. In a genuine friendship, there is not a monologue, but a dialogue. Friends share thoughts, ideas, experiences and feelings. They share their life.

Jesus called us friends - John 15:15

In John 16:13, Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will speak to us. Did you catch it, he said the Holy Spirit WILL speak to us, not maybe, not only to some chosen ministers and pastors, but to ALL of us.

You are not the one to whom nor about whom Jesus was speaking in either John 15:15 or John 16:13.
