Yes about 13 years, 11 or so as a mod. I am one of the very few British people here, my husband is an Aussie.

That's where he is from! He has been in the UK over 30 years now so is as much British as Australian. He has lost a lot of his accent as well.

My cousin - who isn't there any more - lived at Kanagaroo Point, near the bend in the Brisbane River.
