National Guard Deployment Along Path of Total Eclipse

My wife and I had planned to drive about 4 hours Monday to experience  the total eclipse here in Texas, but in a lot of places here and in Oklahoma the National Guard has been doployed because of the expected crowds. Gasoline shortages are expected, etc. Is this happening in other places?

Haven't heard about anything. Not sure what the National Guard could do. They can't even stop unarmed immigrants from crossing the border. Armed guards who cannot actually enforce what they are deployed for, are useless. Of course no doubt, our government would probably not only allow them to use force upon American citizens, but actually back them up if they did. Our existing government, and therefore nation, is just straight stinking up evil.

No idea... I am staying home and inside.

I cannot prove this but there is strong probability that we will be overcast ot heavily clouded. We never see anything here.

I have never seen anything in the sky... not aeven a shooting start.

My obit will read Never saw anything in the skies and never had a banana split.
