While Dems are donating so women can get abortions during this difficult time-

I live in Asheville.  We got off real easy in our particular neighborhood.  We don't have water.  If one is interested in what's going on, I recommend https://www.iheart.com/live/news-radio-570-wwnc-1593/.

https://www.disasterreliefeffort.org/, I believe, is the organization that delivered a transfer truck of supplies to our congregation on Friday to give to people.  They are going to deliver more on Sunday afternoon.  I can't find the words to adequately describe how good they are.  Pretty much anywhere along the rivers of WNC, such as the French Broad, Swannanoa, Pigeon, etc, have been devastated.  There are people missing and people isolated because of roads and bridges completely obliterated.

We were without power and water for about five days, trees down everywhere here in Campobello SC. Many people still without power in SC. I live right near HWY 9 near the NC boarder, there were trees and power lines down all up and down the HWY, but nothing compared to what happened further up the line on HWY 9 in NC. The HWY no longer exists in several places as I understand it, along with most of the town of Chimney Rock which HWY goes into.

I intended to get my situation straightened out and move on to helping others, but blew my knee out cutting up a tree lying across my drive way. Now I am doing good just to walk with a cane or a walker. Nevertheless I count my blessings as none of the no doubt hundreds of trees down in the forest around me landed on my house, though a couple came mighty close. Our prayers go out to the many who have lost loved ones, homes, cars, and many other properties. May God bless in the recovery, and many continue to help as they have been.

We were in Asheville when we went to visit our friends who are in the hills up by Cherokee. They have for years prepared for any event, and got a spring fed water supply and solar panels so are pretty well set up, but we didnt hear from them at first. We finally got a hold of their daughter who said was with them during the storm and just got home, and their was some damage as they are on a mountain side and the water seems to have damaged the road to their house, but otherwise they are fine. My cousin is nearby in Blue Ridge and we are still waiting to hear from them.

We cant do much to help, as we preparing for the next hurricane, Milton, as this one looks like it will hit us at Cat 3 maybe 4.

And Mayorkas said there is no FEMA money for this one.

I heard FEMA was working or a tually fighting against any independent aid efforts, which would not be a surprise from a Mayorkas lead agency of incompetence AND malfeasance.

I don't think Mayorkas is incompetent.  I think he is evil.

Our governments priorities have most obviously been hijacked from their own citizens whom they are supposed to represent.
