Just got back from an awesome hiking tour of these five beautiful parks. I was shocked. My impression of Utah was shaped around what I had read about Salt Lake City and the Great Salt Lake. I highly recommend it to any level of hiking experience. God's creation on full display. Even had some in our group photograph the   Northerm Lights in Zion National Park. My wife and I were too tired and missed that. 😩

My wife and I visited the five national parks in Utah several times.  Arches National Park was one of our all-time favorites; and still is one of mine.

Every day of the trip was awesome and just kept getting better and better. The tour bus was great! The tour guide knew all the little tricks of getting around to all the things that we might have missed on our own. We traveled with my sister and brother-in-law and met 5 other awesome couples about our age. The whole trip rivaled our Alaskan cruise about 8 yeasrs ago. We are wanting to do Glacier National Park maybe next year on a similar tour. The trick will be avoiding the total unrelenting chaos that is the Denver airport. The downer of oir trip was we soent the first two nights in Las Vegas and the last night. I have no use for Vegas. We had been their about 40 years ago when Caesars Palace was the center attraction, now it's not even finding it! Everything is expensive even the cheaper food was SOME consolation in the past. I used to kinda understand the slot machines, now they are might as well be alien techmology similar to my TV remote as an old fart!. Now all I can donis just stare in bewilderment at the colorful displays. 😳 i will never understand the so called easiest game their - craps. Just looks like money throwing and  money raking pandimonium. Oh well it saves me from losing my you know what!
