Genesis 3

New International Version
The Fall
3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"

2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'"

4 "You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were without clothes; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, "Where are you?"

10 He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was without clothes; so I hid."

11 And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."

13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"

The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this,

"Cursed are you above all livestock
    and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
    and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
    between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring[a] and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel."

.....20 Adam[c] named his wife Eve,[d] because she would become the mother of all the living.

21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the Lord God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." 23 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side[e] of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Romans 5

Contemporary English Version
What It Means To Be Acceptable to God
5 By faith we have been made acceptable to God. And now, thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, we have peace[a] with God. 2 Christ has also introduced us to God's gift of undeserved grace on which we now take our stand. So we are happy, as we look forward to sharing in the glory of God. 3 But that's not all! We gladly suffer,[c] because we know that suffering helps us to endure. 4 And endurance builds character, which gives us a hope 5 that will never disappoint us. All of this happens because God has given us the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with his love.

6 Christ died for us at a time when we were helpless and sinful. 7 No one is really willing to die for an honest person, though someone might be willing to die for a truly good person. 8 But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful.

9 But there is more! Now that God has accepted us because Christ sacrificed his life's blood, we will also be kept safe from God's anger. 10 Even when we were God's enemies, he made peace with us, because his Son died for us. Yet something even greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, we will be saved by the life of his Son. 11 And in addition to everything else, we are happy because God sent our Lord Jesus Christ to make peace with us.

Adam and Christ
12  Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die. 13 Sin was in the world before the Law came. But no record of sin was kept, because there was no Law. 14 Yet death still had power over all who lived from the time of Adam to the time of Moses. This happened, though not everyone disobeyed a direct command from God, as Adam did.

In some ways Adam is like Christ who came later. 15 But the gift of God's undeserved grace was very different from Adam's sin. That one sin brought death to many others. Yet in an even greater way, Jesus Christ alone brought God's gift of undeserved grace to many people.

16 There is a lot of difference between Adam's sin and God's gift. That one sin led to punishment. But God's gift made it possible for us to be acceptable to him, even though we have sinned many times. 17 Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has treated us with undeserved grace, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings.

18  Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. 19 Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God.

20 The Law came, so that the full power of sin could be seen. Yet where sin was powerful, God's gift of undeserved grace was even more powerful. 21 Sin ruled by means of death. But God's gift of grace now rules, and God has accepted us because of Jesus Christ our Lord. This means that we will have eternal life.

Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
Isaiah 58:6

The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free.
Luke 4:18

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
Romans 8:15

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
John 8:36

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
Romans 6:22

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
Romans 6:5-6

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:28

For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
1 Corinthians 12:13

The falsehood of Satan.
Satan is a character in The Holy Bible who represents darkness.
Yet, despite the darkness in his soul,
Satan was actually a scheming, clever thinker, evil,
arrogant & a vile being, masquerading as someone who was rational, logical,  reasonable, a free thinker, &
someone who wanted freedom.
But in all actuality, Satan had a hidden agenda & used smiles for his sinister games of taking the throne from God & ruling over Heaven & earth with complete darkness, suffering & pain.

So Satan didn't start by p*rsecuting Adam & Eve,
because he knew God would know about his evil plans in advance & if he started conflict at once then, he would have been punished.
So he started by using smiles & distracting Adam & Eve.
And then he came & deceived Eve & she ate from the forbidden tree.
And also gave it to Adam, who also ate it.
Thus separating them from God's obedience.
This is what Satan does.

After being thrown from Heaven, by Archangel Michael, Satan vowed to cause suffering to God's people.
And he still uses dark & shady ways to deceive some believers.
He comes as a teacher who tries to give wisdom, stand against oppression & remove it,
(as he misleads innocent believers to think, that believing in Father God & abiding by His teaching is oppression),
he teaches people to become free thinkers & live freely,
without being obedient to God,
& thus further misguides God's people & takes them away from the Heavenly Father & leading them towards darkness & later into hell.

But was Satan EVER really a free thinker, & was he, a ''being'' who was REALLY ever standing up against oppression & wanted freedom?
And was he a ''being'', with a rational & logical mind??

Satan was just a clever schemer who wanted Adam & Eve to believe that he was helping them,
& still makes believers, believe that he is helping them.
He tries to show believers that he is a ''being'', who stands against oppression & cares for freedom!!!

But against whose oppression is Satan, standing. That is the question.
And against whom, is he trying to get freedom from??
The  truth is that Satan is misguiding believers that he is guiding them towards freedom.
And some innocent believers really think that Satan is a free thinker.
But the dark serpent, the dragon from ancient times,
first uses sweet charming words to deceive some believers & once these innocent people,
begin to believe in him,
he, who is the actual oppressor begins to oppress the innocent believers.
He takes away their freedom totally, keeps them under his dark check, so that they cannot speak freely,
he makes them his slaves,
he also then teaches them wrong things like being deceitful, theft, envy, jealousy, betrayal, selfishness, violence & other dark things.
And even if some of the innocent believers, dare to stand up against him,
he torments & p*rsecutes them,
thus actually becoming the real oppressor himself.

Whereas the Angels of God are full of light, the Prophets & Saints taught mercy, kindness, compassion, divine love, goodness, humility, selflessness, obedience to God leading to joy & eternal peace.

The Prophets & Saints of God taught being genuine, speaking the truth about light, living a good holy life, they taught benevolence, humanity & thus lead to true freedom from darkness & towards the eternal love of God.
God's love gives TRUE freedom. A freedom to live in peace & the true joy which dwells in the hearts & souls of believers.
God's love is comfort & the warmth in the cold stormy weathers.
God's love is gentle, caring & nourishing.
God takes away the pain & transforms lives. He gives healings, miracles & victories.
God's love does not take, but gives.

That is the difference between a God who sent His one & only begotten son Christ, to save humanity & give them eternal life through His Son
&  Satan who professes to be a teacher of freedom but actually enslaves some believers himself.

Then see the difference between the fruit. God's gives the fruit of light which leads to eternal light & life,
whereas Satan gives the rotten fruit of eternal slavery, unhappiness, chaos
& suffering.

That is why when Satan says that he is taking believers towards freedom from Father God,
believers must see his rotten fruit which is actually leading some innocent believers towards the slavery of Satan.
So,  believers must see for themselves. Do they want eternal bliss, life, peace, joy & light in Heaven as God being the Heavenly Father or do they want to be enslaved by Satan???
God has given a free will, so wise believers will choose Father God rather than Satan.
Amen.

Jude
1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James,

To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for[a] Jesus Christ:

2 Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.

.........14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him." 16 These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.

A Call to Persevere
17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

22 Be merciful to those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
