I've studied the theory of apoluo meaning \"put away without a bill of divorce\" for a couple of years now.
I would like to get someones opinion on Matthew 19:8 which seems to imply that apoluo in this instance does mean with a bill of divorce..

the 'act' of putting away was to 'put the wife out of the house'... you handed her a bill or get of divorce in her hand before you "sent her away".  This was only for the woman.. for...

The proper word used in Rom 7:2 could be translated "bound of law
