I saw this movie yesterday.  I never knew what it was about prior to my seeing it.  Previews were always so vague and they had the usual cliches like "thrill ride."  The movie held my interest all the way to the end.  What really gets me is how straight-forward the plot was.  It was quite simple, no real twists or turns.  Is that the sign of a good movie and good direction when they can keep you intrigued, even with something that's not too complicated?  I'm interested to hear what others have to say.

I rented this the other day too.

My wife fell asleep in the first 30 minutes.
An hour in, I was up rummaging in the fridge, and checking on the basketball game.

If this is a thrill ride, it's one of the ones in the kiddie section.
