Yes...  I am thinking about making this study a "couples" gift for Christmas...   

I saw it on Amazon last night.

There was a book in the movie Fireproof called The Love Dare.  People who previewed the movie early on wanted to know if it was a real book... they wanted to have a copy.  So the writers of the movie wrote the book.  

I haven't read it yet.  

They had lots of copies of it out on a table in the foyer of our church....  I didn't pick one up yet.

The reviews says that it is a 40 day work book, with "dares" every day for you to do in your relationship.. Day 1 is Patience....  I failed today...       Anyway... I've only seen the 1st day... online. So, I was wondering about it.

I need some type of accountability in doing this.  Maybe I should journal or blog.
I realized that I have been failing badly in my role as a wife and need to work on some stuff.
Maybe this book will help to get me on the right track again.

I have to spend some time thinking and praying about this. 
I went out and bought the book and a 3 ring binder to keep notes and stuff in, and got started.
Because of my work schedule, I might not keep up with it every day.
Day 1,  I started in the evening, so I didn't go a full day. 
The next morning I made him breakfast in bed, to be nice, but also because I have wronged him, and I owe him big time. 
Then I read Day 2, and it said to perform an act of kindness.  I got a big SMILE and thought I already accomplished part of my mission today. :)

I've only been working on this for a couple of days and It's made a difference already. :)

This book is based on the movie Fireproof. So if you've seen the movie, or watched the preview you may realize what the book is about.  It's basically a 40 day challenge to begin loving and treating your spouse in new ways, adding a new dimension every day. I know a couple of just finished. For some it can be transformational, or the start of something like that.
