How can I feel God's Love and Peace more in my life, and how can I feel the assurance that I will go to Heaven??
I love God and I know that he died so my sins would be forgiven, and I try to be more Chrsitlike in my actions,   but how do I feel his Love and Peace and Assurance of Heaven to a greater degree...

Keep walking in that faith you just professed in your post.  Keep reading His word.  Keep telling Him just what you have told us.  God will cause that assurance to be so in your life.  He has in mine.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.  18  He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Some times it takes time. I dont know how long you have been a christian, but I know in the early years I often asked people what this peace was becase I never felt it. That was probably to do with difficult and painful  things that were happening in my life, but it has only been the last few years that I have really come to know the real peace and joy that I have always heard about.
You know the assurace that you are going to heaven, by what The Bible says, and that is that God is preparing a place for you there if you are his child, and not by feelings which come and go .
trust Him, He never lies.

Feelings are just that.  They come and go.  Your relationship to God through Christ is not based upon your feelings but his promises.
