COLOSSIANS 1:10-22
This passage tells of God, the son, Jesus Christ, and it tells of his limitless power.  He is the creator and savior of the world.
In verse 13 we read about his ultimate love he has for us.  He wants us to be fruitful, disciplined and spiritual children.
Through the cross, we now have salvation.  We have been freed from the grasp of Satan, and are now in his precious hands.  He wants us to continually give thanks for all things.
In verse 16 by his word, everything was created.  He only has to speak and things appear.  By his word, everything is held in place. Everything in the universe, and on the earth and in the earth is held in place by his word.
One day, we will be presented, holy, unblamable, and unreproveable to the Father.
Would one of you give your life for me?  Every time someone would yell out one of the many sins that I did in my life, you would get punched, slapped and whipped until near death and then hung up until you are dead.  You can't, you have as many sins as I do.  You can't pay the penalty for my sins because you are just as guilty as me!  But, Jesus the one who knew no sin did just that!!!
He paid the penalty for all the sins of mankind.  During the 3 black hours he hung on that cross, God, the father, placed all the sins of the world on him.  He suffered more than anyone can comprehend.  By and through faith in him, we now have salvation, and our names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
