hey, to all who may read this, ok so heres my question, where are the single JESUS loving women, iam a radical JESUS loving man, yes i said radical, i had my road to damascis experience, and yes JESUS is first, he is lord of all, or not lord at all, seems i scare women away, i will not comprimise, also im fit as a fiddle, look 15 yrs younger than iam, and im confident as to who iam, so ladies that read this, can you tell me why a confident , good looking man scares you??? or is this yet another sign of the times, i mean all you have to do is drive down the street and the signs of the end are everwhere, shall i expound or do you guys know what im talking about,?? o yea i just joined this site, i had been asking JESUS to help me understand all this, and i stumbled upon this site, so here we go, i await any response,   so go bold or get off the road,   richard z

You're not scaring the real Jesus sisters.

But the real ones can pray and be led by God; so if God wants one to join with you, He can lead you together. "It only takes one."

I don't have anyone, myself, but I keep preparing, in case God wants me with someone. I understand He wants me to be His example of how He wants her to become, if I am to be her "head" (Ephesians 5:23).

Also, "rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4) "nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3) "with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love," (Ephasians 4:2)

And He wants us to be all-loving; so I need to be busy with loving any person, at all, including ladies who are not with it, be there for them with my example in the sight of God and hold to this. "And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved." (2 Corinthians 12:15)

Welcome here to the forum.
A small warning.
I was on Christian internet dating sites for 2 years before I met my husband, and if any of the men remarked about  how fit they were and how they looked SO much younger then they were it put me off totally and 100%.To me it sounds rather arrogant and it usually meant that they were after a much younger women. Allow the women to judge whether you look at certain age or not  Just an observation.

I dont know how old you are or what age women you are looking for but, in the UK where I live, there are LOADS and LOADS of lovely Christian women and of all ages as well. In fact the problem here is the lack of Christisn guys, especially as you get older. By the time you get to your 40's, there there are about 4 or 5 Christian women to every Christian man.

I met my lovely husband and my son met the most lovely godly sweet and loving Christian girl on the internet, so maybe try that? Otherwise what is your church like? is it large or small? Are there many single women of your age there?Maybe go to different Christian events and mix with lots of other single people. In my sons church there are loads of really nice Christisn single women in their 20's and 30's.(he is 32) but of course he has his girl now.

Trust God to find you the right woman, and ask him if there is anything that you may need to change or work on before that happens. Your post seem to come over a bit "well I am a really good catch, but I still cant find anyone" Maybe be a bit more modest and humble and let those you meet judge as to whether they think you are a good catch and not. Hope I havent offended you but as a woman that is how your post came accross, and I wonder if that is how you also come accross to any woman you meet?

Let me say this. When I'm at work I usually say very little about my faith. And I am as passionate as they come for Jesus. I see guys praying etc and do not join them. Christian men can be a very scarey group. Scarier than heathens. Legalists & wackos abound inside the church. David Koresh & Jim Jones to name a couple. So go easy. Watch and be more concerned with living out your faith than telling it. The Christian women will find you. Promise.

yet I love it that my husband will pray and tell others about God. I dont find that scary at all. Not sure that the two you mentioned were Christians John. I DO agree that there are some wacos, but most the guys in my church are really nice, normal, down to earth guys , including the pastor and the elders.

Yes, if I want to get with a really humble sister of Jesus, I need to be humble, myself. The real ones can tell the difference ::smile::

Being certain not to confuse humility with an on-going attitude of apology for being a Christian!!

I caution you:  Most of the bold ones also have this self-righteous thing on them (no offense, but be sure you don't).  They will put guilt trips on the quieter ones not as out spoken about their faith.  It can be a real turn off.  I pray constantly for boldness, but I do not walk up to everyone I meet and share my faith...so God must know that I can be used a witness regardless of speaking words.  I have to believe my quiet, sure, steadfast faith in Jesus is a daily witness to those around me.  At one of my jobs it was commented about the general manager, "This is not a mission field."  He was a former missionary, and they were frustrated that he would talk about God more than he would manage.  Sometimes, we just need to be on our job being faithful and working heartily as unto the Lord.

There is a time and a place that is right and appropriate for all things, even witnessing.
