Is God Jesus? Is Jesus God?

Shamrock, let me clarify a few things. I never met Larry. I understand that Larry has a job to do, and I am quite sure he does it to the best of his ability. Never met his wife, but I would consider it an honor if I did, that is if he has one.   

I have been studying the Bible for 28 years. I have a web-site that I pay for, and maintain out of my $900.00 an month Social Security check. Its updated daily, and will continue to do so until I am taken to be with the Lord. 

I am receiving in access of 20,000 hits a month, and its been growing every month for the past 9 years.  "Thank your Lord." I also promote Grace Christian forums on my site. Why? Because I believe it to be of great importance that Christians have a place to express themselves, and to exchange ideas among themselves.

I will continue to do what the Lord puts on my plate, and will do it to the best of my ability. Now you may not agree with my thinking, and that's OK. Regardless of some of your comments, I still respect you as a person, and will continue to do so. But if you don't have a little more respect for others, you may not be here long enough to worry about future posts. I would like you to stay, but I would also like you to represent yourself like a man.

Your question, "Is God Jesus?"  My reply, "Yes." Lets turn to,

Isa.48. I will brush over some verses for a foundation.

God is speaking to the Jews. Jehovah claims that,
ver.3, He, Jehovah  "Has declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my (God's) mouth."

ver.9, Jehovah said He will defer his anger, ver.10 He will refine them. ver.11 He will do it for His own sake. Ver.12 He tell them to hear Him. ver.15, He clarifies it is He who is speaking. Now in ver.16, He said,

Isa.48:16, Jehovah = Jesus) said, "Come ye (the Jews) near unto me (Jehovah, = Jesus) hear ye this: I (Jehovah = Jesus) have not spoken in secret from the beginning (from the creation;) from the time that it was, there am I (Jehovah = Jesus) and now the Lord God (the Father,) and His (Holy) Spirit, hath sent me (Jehovah = Jesus)" There you have it, three persons, Jehovah Jesus, Jehovah the Father, and God the Holy Spirit.

Now where did the Father and the Holy Spirit send Jesus?

Now couple this with 1 Tim.3:16, "God (Jehovah = Jesus) was manifest in the flesh." So who was this person that was God manifest in the flesh? Jesus Christ.

This answers your first question, "Is God Jesus?"

Second question. Is Jesus God?

We know that Jesus was killed, buried, raised, and then ascended into heaven. Or I hope you believe that.

Now with that said, lets turn to Rev.1. Its a resurrected Jesus Christ. He will give John a message to the churches, and then about the tribulation, and his second coming.

Jesus said, Rev.1:8, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." Remember this is after his resurrection and ascention.

Three time in this one vers, Jesus claims to be God. Only God is the "Beginning and End of all things. Only Jehovah can claim to be the "I am." Only God can claim to be the Almighty." Compare to,

Gen.17:1, "When Abram was 99 years old, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God."

Ecl.3:11, "That God maketh from the beginning to the end."

Ex.3:14, "God (Jehovah) said to Moses, I am that I am."

Well that should answer your questions is Jesus God, and is God Jesus. Yes, and Yes.

you're wrong Jesus isn't the God of Israel,he's the SON, of the God of Israel. many see Jesus as a God,but Jesus NEVER...said he was God. he NEVER taught that to ANY of his followers. surely by him teaching them all his Father wanted them to know. he would have taught them that he was the Almighty Jehovah.  you continually type Jehovah=Jesus this is not true. that wasn't Jesus speaking in the scriptures you post. and you can't JSUT add "Jehovah=Jesus" because it didn't apply.

i will show you many scriptures proving Jehovah and Jesus aren't one in the same. only Jehovah is the " I am Alpha and Omega", it's he who's speaking, NOT Jesus. God's word show's he was ALWAYS here,(Psa.90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God). Though Jesus is in total agreement with HIS Father,he isn't the Father. His Father is over him,(1Cor.11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God).ß this...is enough proof for me. But there's more!

Dispite what many refuse to believe,which show they tend to follow a false teaching instead of the truth. Jesus was created,(Phil.2:5 ,26-Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God),  and  (Colo.1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature). Jesus WAS ceated NOT always here!

Here's what Jesus said ,before he was sent to earth,concerning his FATHER Jehovah God, (Pro.8:22-30-The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there, when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him). Proof!...Jesus ISN'T Jehovah God.


If this still isn't enough proof,...there's more, Jesus words himself. 
(1).everything he taught,he made sure they understood, it's the Father who calls the shots...not him! (John 5:30 -I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me). And  (Matt.20:23-to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father).


(2).Jesus showed many who THINK,they know him,don't even  KNOW his Father,(John 7:28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not). 

(3). Jesus  shows again he's NOT the Father,or Almighty God,(John 14:31- But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence).

(4). The book of Revelation show's there ONLY two in Heaven who's worthy of holding a certain book, Jehovah, who's on the throne. And Jesus,his son,(Rev.5:1-8). Nowhere was this third spirit being mention. These scriptures, without a doubt, this  "Jehovah=Jesus
