Jesus is better than life with a king . . .
or all of this life, no matter how people sing.

Jesus is better than gold or silver . . .
better than life and all that strife seeks for.

Jesus is better than a babbling giggling brook . . .
always in love that is right, not like a crook.

He far exceeds the love . . . earthly love . . . romantic love . . .
better than all we try to please ourselves with.

Houses, lands, and relationships do not satisfy,
but Jesus does . . . better than all else can try.

We can fly higher in Jesus, than eagles in the sky . . .
but not by seeking to figure out why.

Patient and resting sweetly completely . . .
desiring to please Him is my ultimate goal.
