I had my computer geek over this morning to speed up my computer.  He did that voodoo that he does and said it is very fast compared to a lot of other computers on DSL.  He got on Grace Centered for awhile and said, "Man, this is the slowest forum I've been on."  I said, "But I like it and most of the people on it."  He said, "Then just keep being frustrated and live with it, cuz I can do nothing about their forum."  (sigh)   ::destroyingcomputer::

Yup.  I've noticed that for the past few days as well.  Tried looking up the network info but couldn't find anything that stood out as an issue.  Probably a server issue or not being indexed well by a proxy.

I've learned that I can click on something and it takes 5 minutes for it to do anything.  So, I have plenty of time to go to the bathroom, fix lunch, or do other things while I wait for the forum to act.  Ot only bothers me when I have nothing to do and have to sit here for 5 minutes, doing nothing.

Sooooo, I clicked on "Show new replies to your posts", then went to the kitchen and made my wife and I a turkey dinner, with dressing, mashed potatos, corn on the cob, gravy and dinner rolls.  When I came back, it brought up the "Show your posts" thread.   ::destroyingcomputer::
