Sleeping ?

The last few years , I have had a problem with little sleep !

I thought it was to a change in going to bed.   Since my husband worked nights and I slept alone, I must have gotten used to this.   At the time he retired I guess is the time  this started.  [ it took all this time to figure this one out ]
I seem to hear  every thing, the snoring and even the moving around.
I thought it was me only, I guess it is , but wonder ........

I use ear plugs and take  Magnesium  and Valerian Root at times.  It helps for about a hour.    The ear plugs help some,  but I was wondering is there any other kind of ear protection for sound that I can use ?
Any ideas at all Please !   Thanks........

One other thing I should mention my husband  uses a walker and is hard of hearing , so he does not  know how much noise he is making with cling clanging that walker around!  He is in constant pain, [back pain]so I do not want to add on to him more then what he all ready has.

But that walker makes enough noise to wake me.
And during  the  night he gets up quite a few time !
Any ideas for help ?
