As we all know, Job was a man in the Age of Law. Before, I paid little attention to his story, because I thought he was so common. It is not until I read Almighty God's word that I see how valuable he is in God's sight.

Job1:1There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job1:5And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Almighty God said:" It can be seen that Job was discreet in his life. He did not become greedy or love enjoyment or pay much attention to the quality of his life because of God's blessing to him. Moreover, he was humble in doing things, modest in conducting himself, and careful and cautious before God, often contemplated God's graces and blessings, and always had a heart of fearing God. In his daily life, he often rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings for his sons and daughters. This means that Job not only feared God himself but also hoped that his sons and daughters could fear God like him and would not commit offense against God. That is, rich material things did not occupy Job's heart or take the place of God in his heart, and all that he did in his daily life, whether for his sons and daughters or for himself, had to do with 'fearing God and shunning evil.' "

Job1:11-12 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

"After that conversation, satan was allowed to tempt Job. That was the first round of attack from satan. Its target was Job's possessions. Because satan accused Job as follows: ' Does Job fear God for nothing? ...you have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land,' God allowed satan to take away all that Job had. That was God's intention of conversing with satan. But God made a requirement of satan: ' Behold, all that he has is in your power; only on himself put not forth your hand.' (Job 1:12) It was the condition God made after he allowed satan to tempt Job and delivered Job into satan's hand, that is, the bottom line God set for satan, ordering it not to do harm to Job. God acknowledged Job's perfectness and uprightness and believed that Job's uprightness and perfectness before him could withstand the test and was beyond doubt, so he allowed satan to tempt Job. Yet he set a limit for satan: satan was only allowed to take away any property of Job, but not to put forth its hand on him. What does this mean? It means that at that time God did not completely deliver Job to satan, and it was allowed to tempt Job in any way or means, but was not allowed to harm Job himself, not even a hair. That is because man's everything is governed by God and man's death or life is decided by God, and satan has no such right. After God said the word to satan, satan went anxiously. It went to tempt Job by various means. Soon, Job lost his flocks and herds all over the hills and lost all the possessions God bestowed to him.... God's trial came upon Job just like that."

Job1:20-21Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

"The Value Job Lived Out in His Life

Is Job's life valuable? Where does his value lie? Why do we say he lived with value? What's his value in man's eyes? From man's angle, he bore a resounding testimony for God before satan and the world on behalf of the mankind God wanted to save, and he fulfilled the bounden duty of a created being and served as an exemplar and model for all those God wanted to save, so that mankind has seen that by relying on God, man absolutely can overcome satan. Where does his value lie in God's eyes? In God's eyes, the value of his living lies in that when he was living, he could fear God, worship God, testify God's deeds, and praise God's deeds, letting God get comfort from him and have the enjoyable thing. In God's eyes, the value of his living also lies in that in the trial he experienced in his lifetime, he overcame satan, and bore a resounding testimony for God before satan and the world and gained glory for God among mankind, letting God's heart be comforted and letting God's anxious heart see the result and the hope. His testimony set a precedent in God's work of managing mankind for standing testimony for God and shaming satan for God. These are the value of Job's living, aren't they? He let God's heart be comforted, let God foretaste the pleasure of gaining glory, and let God's management plan have a perfect beginning there. And Job's name thereafter became the mark of God gaining glory and the sign of mankind overcoming satan. Job's living out in his whole life and his great achievement of overcoming satan will forever be considered precious by God. His perfectness and uprightness and his fear of God will be venerated and imitated by later generations. He, like a flawless and brilliant pearl, will be forever loved by God and be worthy for men to treasure!"
(A Selected Passage from "God's Work, God's Disposition, and God Godself (2)"in A Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)

From Almighty God's word,I realize that God's requirement of man is for them to fear God and shun evil. Job didn't deny God's name in trials, kept the way of fearing God and shunning evil, and thus stood testimony. His testimony comforted God and was approved by God. Job is worthy for me to imitate!

Micah 6:8 here is what God really says, if you care...

He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?

John1:9-11   That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

When the Lord Jesus came to work in the Age of Grace, so many people didn't know Him. Even those who believed in Jehovah didn't know Him and condemned the work of Jesus. Many people didn't investigate the truth because of negative rumors, and lost a valuable opportunity. But it was something unexpected that the one whom the scribes, Pharisees, government resisted was the true God. They nailed God to the cross. At that time, people resisted Jesus because of listening to the upper level of the religious world. When Amighty God comes, maybe what He speaks and does go against our notions. But if we don't investigate it carefully but blindly believe negative rumors, don't we very likely resist the returned Lord Jesus? I believe that everything from God will prosper. Whether it is the truth or not,  we will know it only after investigation.

Acts 5:38-39   And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
