Anybody an NFL fan? As I love the game. Only sport that I really watch at all! ::announcment::

RoninJedi

I try very hard to be, but as the wife is NOT really a sports person, I haven't been a very good fan for close to a decade.  I am trying to follow it closer this year, though.  We'll see how that goes.   ::shrug::

Although I do have to admit that when the men's NCAA tourney rolls around, she would cut down a tree with nail-clippers if it meant I got to watch a game, so I can't complain too much.

texanperry

Yes, I am and my favorite team is the Houston Texans.

nealmorsefan

Fan here.  My Seahawks are tearing it up!  It's been a long, hard fan life as a Seahawks fan, but the past decade has been by far the best.  Of course, Steve Largent is still the all-time best Seahawk!

I love to watch NFL and favorite teams are Miami Dolphins; Houston Texans; New York Giants.

Jesus Freak

I'm a fan: New Orleans Saints AND Buffalo Bills are my teams.

I guess I'm a Cowboy fan. I am not a Romo fan. He is a good statistical QB, but lacks the intangibles that make a winner like Staubach and Aikman. Romo is the Danny white of present day. Will get you 8 or 10 wins, but will never win the Super Bowl.

The Cowboys are just like Billy Graham, they can cause 100,000 people in a stadium stand up and proclaim Jesus!

I'm there with you.

Guess I'm reviving this because the wildcards are playing now. Panthers tonight face last years SB winners, the Seahawks.

Is he gonna prove you wrong this year?

Alan, I don't expect Romo to prove me wrong in the frozen tundra of Greenbay. But I would love to be wrong!

::smile::  Though I was rooting for the Pac last Sunday, I am glad your long time loyalty has paid off and that you get to watch your team go to the big game! ::smile:: I hope they stomp the Patriots.  ::wizard::

Me too.

When  ::disco:: Seahawks win this Superbowl it will be the second in a row.  ::clappingoverhead:: Go Hawks!

Any thoughts on the deflated football scandal?  ::shrug::

EchoDelta

I read there's a video of a Patriots team attendant taking the footballs after they were inspected. Whether Belichick and Tom Brady were actually aware, no one will ever know the truth. But of course they will publicly deny it. I think they knew, imho. But that's in the past. It's all about the Super Bowl now.

MoodyMoose

True. I wonder why no one has ever said anything about the referees in this? They're the one's who throw out the ball to start the game. If they didn't notice anything that's a bit odd I'd think.

EchoDelta

Great Super Bowl game yesterday. Seattle had that game won. But imho, they got greedy and were looking to get Russell Wilson another TD pass rather than just hand the ball to Marshawn Lynch. Overall exciting. Seattle will definitely learn from this. Congrats to the New England Patriots  ::clappingoverhead::

crowcamp

I've been somewhat a Seahawks fan, but no more. They showed themselves to be crude, classless, and in the end, incredibly stupid. No love for NE, but glad they won.

Buster D Body Crab

I've been part of the 12th man group for years. This Super Bowl made me sick. We rebounded and came back and had it in the bag until the coach called for a slant into the end zone instead of having the QB hand off to The Beast so he could drive through for the touchdown.

Now the rumors are flying that the whole reason for those ridiculous plays is because someone in top office wanted our Seahawk QB to get the MVP at the end of the game. Rather optimistic in retrospect.

God it made me sick!

Kim4Him

Yep!  I'm a die-hard Steelers fan!   ::clappingoverhead::

Definitely love some football! I live in LA and I am really hoping for the Rams to come back!! They might build the new stadium where the old Hollywood Park race track used to be. I hope the Raiders dont come back here tough.

WorldWithoutEnd

Niners, who lost like 11 starters this year, soundly thumped Minnesota tonite, 20-03.

NICE!  ::applause::

Cowboys all the way!

I was a little more confident prior to them being handed two losses by the Giants. Certainly didn't look like a Champion team on Dec 11th, although they are certainly entitled to a bad day.

I have no what happened on the loss other than their uber-star Dez Bryant couldn't catch his own butt cheeks. 5 drops if I remember right. The first loss was kinda understandble being the very first game that Prescott started as QB.
