This is weird

Ok so this to me is weird but then I guess it is not so weird. Anyway. Long story short there is this guy that I had an immediate attraction to. I just felt a good genuine  vibe from him and he seemed like a sweetheart.  I seen him at my church. The same day he gets saved and I was like ok! lol. With the vibe i got from him I thought he was saved already.  Ok so to make a long story short, I found out that he is a relative of someone that was married into my family. their spouse is now deceased which was my blood relative. But the dilemma to me is that the guy that I was attracted to is related to my relative and their husbands children which are my relatives.  So me and the guy are no relation but are cousins to the same people. Weird. I understand how this works out in the family tree, but I think that it is so weird that you can be blood related to a person but another person can be related to them but no relation to you.  What do you think about this type of relationship? Wouldy ou approve of this in your family? Do you think God would approve of this? I have been trying to be as unattracted to this person as possible when I found out this information lol.

If you are not related by blood then I cant see what the problem is.

Nothing wrong with it.  You are not related.

I know a family that a sister married a man, and her brother married the man's cousin. 

Or sisters that married brothers.

Or sisters that married cousins.
