Thankful

So, today something happened and it really just irked me.

But, it also made me look across the room at my husband and say to him, "I am very thankful for you!"

He is a good man, who strives to honor God, who leads without looking down his nose at his daughters or me because we are women/girls.  He is man enough to be married to a strong woman and have strong daughters and not feel his masculinity is in jeopardy.  (Of course, I make sure to protect it by not 'mommy-ing' him to death and not letting the girls be disrespectful to him)  He is trustworthy, strong and kind.

He tells me that I am a woman that is easy to lead and to praise, and I tell him he is a man easy to follow and build up.  I just appreciate him so very much.

Marriage can be hard and even boring sometimes with life getting in the way, but it is also a wonderful blessing and I just wanted to take a moment and share.

Great post, so true what you say about a man who is secure in himself will not worry or feel threatened with having a strong wife.

Thank you! I feel more and more grateful every day about the man God has blessed me with!

I did not ............  He knew of course that I loved him !   But  I never  thanked him for  how

wonderful  he made m feel !    He passed away  last June.......... and the hurt I know will keep on going.

Thank you for the encouragement to be generous with my praise of my wonderful man, grams!

I tell him daily, multiple times a day what I am thankful for about him, and how grateful I am to have his love.

It is no small thing when someone pledges to you their life, their loyalty and their love! What a great honor to hold someone's heart in your hand!
