Jesus is 'The Master' which desires 'Freedom'
satan is 'the master' which desires 'Control'

In the world, you serve either 1 or the other.  There is no escaping it.  1 John 5:19

'We know that   of Art- God we are,   and   the   world whole, in the
   evil [one]   lies under control.'

So with every leader and authority in the world, they either belong to the 1 or the other.

And so one may say, 'Well if Christ is for 'Freedom', then it is well that I can live freely to do freely without any fear of dangers.'

And this statement of 'Faith' may be a good one.  This statement of 'faith' towards God's Love and Acceptance may be very good indeed.  However we miss the point when this is the ending to that idea.

Sin enslaves.  Those who are under the chains of sin are actually 'slaves' to sin.  Sin has then become their 'master' in either the 1 Master for Freedom or the 1 master for Control.

So a leader may not be 'as sinful' as the ones who are out all day and all night, everyday and every night, but that leader is kept under the 'sway' of the master which desires to control.  And this 'master' even the leader does not see, just as he does not see the other 1 Master.

But ultimately, to NOT have Christ in your life; Christ being the 'ONLY' way unto The Father, means you are under the other master's leading.  1 human lifetime for satan is NOT 1 lifetime for satan.  As with The Lord 1 day is as a thousand years, (2 Peter 3:8);(Psalms 90:4) with the devil 1 human lifetime comes and goes, and yet he is still around doing his plan upon earth through those ones who is/are under his leading.

Adolph Hitler was not a baby boy who magically appeared on earth.  He had a mom and dad.  He had to have been fed and he needed his diapers changed.  He wouldn't have made it into adulthood had it NOT been for the 'loving' care of his parents and/or nanny.  But who he grew into, because he did not have Christ in his life, was the leader of Nazi Germany which was a main 'proponent' in WWII and of the killing of the Jews.  I say 'proponent' because it was their idea to instigate the war and not the other way around which would make them an 'opponent'.

And just like Adolph Hitler, all of us come into the world the same way.  And who we might end up as, if we do not have Christ in our lives, may be up to the other master to decide.

No one wanted to become an 'addict' or a 'jail prisoner' as a child...

And herein lays another dilemma.  The King of kings and The Lord of lords....  Why is HE also NOT The Master of masters??

Although in Heaven there may be many kings and many lords, since that is what they were on earth, there will be no other masters.  The kings will always be remembered for being kings and the lords will always be remembered for being lords.  But there is only 1 Master in Heaven.  No one will be remembered for being a master.

Matthew 23:8;10
"But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren;  Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ."

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully."

Proverbs 8:13 "The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate."

Proverbs 5:3 "For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:"

Psalms 17:1 "Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips."
