Yankees in Last Place

It is May 6th and the Yanks are tied with the DRays for last in the AL East... boy what a shame, 200 million dollars and you're hanging with the DRays...

I don't what it is that makes me delight so much when the Yankees lose, but when it comes to sports it is a feeling of great joy. I tell you I was on cloud nine for about a week after the Yankees blew the 3-0 lead in the ALCS last year...

I know this attitude is kind of childish, but I will confess it is true...

I want the Yankees to do all the time, except when they play the Texas Rangers.  It seems to me that when the Yankees do good, baseball as a whole does good.  They bring in more revenue and more television shares which then results in more revenue going to all of the teams.

I hope they come out of their slump soon.
