Why was I unable to get anything but a blank page for the past several days?

Is there an announcement or explanation thread somewhere?

I emailed admin through the Grace Centered Magazine site and told him aboit the outage. Apparently it was an issue with his server. Thankfully it's back up.

Hmmm, I'm still having a few problems like getting kicked off and also trouble with the quote feature. Hopefully it will get cleared up soon.

I couldn't reply to messages yesterday so this is merely a test, but it does appear that most of the bugs are being worked out.


I'm assuming we have executed a backup as usual in the event of a server failure, which would explain the hiccups on the site but I'm also not sure the extent of the failure. Just glad to be back

I had  about  2  two  day's of not being able to get on this forum,  and then I was able

and then  again  I could not get on.........  yesterday......... 

But today  I am back on.........   We live far out , I thought it was  because of this.....

But  I was able to do  lots of other things   , so it was to do with this forum  I guess???

I am glad it came back on but off and on and off again yesterday seems to be hiccups that won't stop.

As I do not post replies any longer I will admit to feeling at a loss when I cannot read the various posts. (This is the only forum I read)

Grams they are working on the server. Don't be surprised if it doesn't happen again until they get it right. I would not trade places with Admin for all the tea in China.

Hi everyone, yep, it has been up and down several times over the last several days... we are preparing to get the core software upgraded to the latest version and update old modules to their latest versions... it is relatively stable right now... going to monitor the error log for a few days and when I am confident the core upgrade will be painless we will proceed with that, fyi when I do that IF everything goes right it will only take a few minutes and you likely will not experience any downtime, but if I encounter trouble well it will take as long as it takes... but rest assured that I am on the case and monitoring the system closely.

It would be helpful if Admin could post updates on the GC FB page when there are problems so we would know it is GC's problem and not ours.
