The nation of Israel is about to finish their 70th year as a nation, May 13th 2019. Do you feel this has anything to do with the following verse?

Matthew 24:34, "Jesus is speaking, "Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." The average of a generation today is in the 70es.

What things was Jesus speaking of concerning the days of his return? He said, the gospel will have been preached in all the world; the internet has accomplished that; the abomination of desolation will be standing in the holy place, that would be the Dome of the Rock sitting atop Mt. Moriah, the place David purchased for the LORD.

There will be many false Christ; there will be wars, rumors of wars, etc. She's surrounded by her enemies, the nations spoken of in Ezekiel, Libya, Syria, Persia, etc. Except for the Christian community, the world leaders stand ready to destroy the Jews. And if the church is raptured away, nothing will be standing between her enemies and total extermination except for the Lord. But we know the end of the story, He will come to their rescue once they call upon his name.

In Scripture Israel is usually represented by the fig tree. In Matthew 24:32 we read, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is near. So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." 

Also, Passover will fall on April/19th through the 27th of the year 2019, shortly after Israel celebrates her 70th birthday. One other thing, by next year it is estimated, there will be approximately 14,400,000 Jews worldwide, 1% would be 144,000; probably just coincidental.
