I have clocked over a million miles driving plus I have made many trips by air.   I worked for many years and made a living for me. my immediate family, and several other families.   So, don't lecture me, Sonny.   

I never thought of doing the right thing as skin off my teeth.   

I don't need to be here, but I think about what another moderator here told me, and that was that I should not let someone else run me off.   You don't have to referee anything.   I thought you were able to know the difference between right and wrong.

I had stopped posting here for a couple of weeks and then, all of a sudden, I got all of these notifications in my email that I'm being mentioned in political posts.  I had never received such emails before.   I should not be the topic of discussion.  That's not the purpose of a discussion forum, especially a Christian forum.    I don't want to discuss myself or anyone else, and I'm not lying either!

People are free to have differing opinions about a countries leader, its happened a lot here about leaders in my own country and I have had to just accept it apparently so you guys can as well.

There is a lot of bad blood between you all, I know the roots of some of it, but not religious is always attacked when he comes here by the same few people. Its not acceptable. Its like being back in the playground. Good people have been driven away by the same few people, and that's very sad.

I never go onto the political forum any more, far too crazy for my liking. Gracecentered has turned into a political forum instead of a Christian one and that's also sad in my opinion.

I have never seen a bigger divide in US society as today. You are either pro-Trump or anti-Trump and must defend your position aggressively as the other side is willing to bash your head in.
Families split and friendships are ended because one picked the "wrong" side.

Unfortunately you are in a tough spot because you are not allowed to say anything about Trump, but the other way around there is no limitation to what Trump supporters may say about your leadership.

Meh. I've lost two friends over my support for Trump, and you know what that support was? I rarely do facebook and use it for health groups and messaging. On inauguration day, I logged in and posted a photo of President Trump with the caption - "He is my President." Over that, I lost two dear friends. Local friends. Friends that I've had in my home. Both women, and both were Bernie supporters. They cut me totally out of their lives for good. I had kept my mouth shut about being for Trump when I was around them, and knew they were Bernie supporters. They dropped me like a hot potato when I announced my support for him on inauguration day. Sad. I cleaned off the the photo of Trump, and vowed to not post another thing on my wall - and I haven't. I do politics here and at twitter.

I have a dear friend in Maine who got dumped by several close friends when they found out he is a Trump supporter. At first, he was cut to the bone. Now he just says - whatever.

I didn't like Trump at first, but now I respect him for working to keep his promises to the voters. Something foreign to Establishment Republicans. I LOVE that he is a fighter and takes no BS. I have no regret about being unfriended by anyone over that. He's not the most polished person by any stretch, but he is NOW the most pro life President in actions and words than anyone else in my memory. I despise with every molecule in my body the not so silent coup that has been wages against this duly elected President. I have no oroblem with legitimate criticism of him, but most of the crap over the last two years is total inmitigated crap, as he is improving the lot for all races and women. I agree with every position he has or that I know of. He is correct on the border crisis. He has no choice but to be a prolific tweeter. Journalism has been dead for over 30 years.

I've been keeping up with the Brits for about 25 years.   I have many Brit friends on Facebook.   Their comments reflect the opposite.   They're not getting along at all.  Scots of various political affiliations; Irish - Northern and Republic of Ireland - various political factions; Welsh - various factions; Labour - divided within just like the Conservatives; Conservatives - divided within just like Labour Party; Liberal Democrats; etc. etc.   That's a lot of political factions and I've not mentioned all of them.

I'm a pretty offensively prolific Trumpian on Facebook.  I remind myself to not get TOO carried away.  Most of my friends are Trumpers, but most of my family members are Dems.  One or two of the minority of anti-Trumpers among my non-family have disappeared from my Friends list.

After both of Obama's elections, those of us on the right were of course displeased -- probably more so after the second election, having seen four years of how he actually governed, as opposed to how he campaigned.  My baby cousin -- about age 30 at the time of the first election -- is a lib.  In victory, it's easy to be cavalier, and her comment was along the lines of, "Oh, these things always swing back and forth, so I don't know why Republicans are so upset."  (I never thought we were "so" upset.)

After The Trumpinator's victory, she was singing -- or more precisely, wailing -- a much different tune.  She posted on Facebook about how she was sitting there holding her new baby and crying, unable to believe there were so many hate-filled people in the country that Trump could get elected.

I refrained from commenting.
