I have deleted the message I had posted here telling of the $100 I needed for the hosting switch.

Praise the Lord, the answer came in a powerful way. If I may, I would like to share the story with you.

After my search had left me with two options for hosting, I decided the money would have to be spent. I knew I had to find it. I called the first hosting company, who is very professional and would have been a good choice. The second, is a Christian hosting company. I will tell you their name in a few days when we get everything transfered over. I will put a "special thanks" to them at the bottom of the discussion board. They are waving many of the fees and making it where I can afford it with the resources that I CURRENTLY have. I will need no extra.

It may not be big news to anyone else, but I felt like God answered my short prayer that I said, more as a sigh than anything. I said, "God please help me keep this thing up without all that money."

Anyway, I am excited!

Seems as if it's been a year or two, but in reality I guess it's only been since the weekend.  Just enough time for me to get into all kinds of real world trouble (more on that later, maybe).

Good to see the board up and running and people drifting back.

Phew! Finally. I have not been able to get on the board for over a week. Thank you, Lee for getting it back. I was going through some major withdrawals. Happy!

Space and traffic. What a wonderful problem to have. My father-in-law has graciously purchased the extra space and traffic limits for me as I am broke right now.

I have merged two of the forums in an effort to use less space. Classifieds and Announcements. And prayer requests and Introductions & General Discussion.

How can you help? By keeping your private message boxes descently clean. By clean I mean, if the message is old or if you just don't care about that message DELETE it. :-) I have changed the settings so that each private message area is "pruned" once every 20 days to make sure that you do not have more than 20 stored PM's at a time. If you feel your situation is different and you need more than that please let me know and I will see what I can do.

I am working on clearing up other stuff as well to take up less space. Now that we have extra traffic, let's use it! Email your friends. Put it in bulletins. I want to go to the next level, and I want you to be part of it.

I'm sorry for the downtime.

Apparently the board is still having problems. Has anyone else encountered this? I am looking at other hosting companies.

I got through & navigated everywhere just fine WHILE I SAT 3 HOURS ON MY POOR NUMB - ah - CHAIR, deleting my 10,000 p.m.'s sent and received.

Boy, I am such a packrat.

I could not get through at the end of that session, but had no trouble now.

Did you findthe sent ones, Marc?  I thought I was done until I found them.  I could have deleted all with one blow, but some things I needed I had to paste in a Microsoft file I keep for board info.

I'm having intermittent trouble, still, getting from the GC Mag 1st page to the forums.  No trouble getting into articles.

Last night I wrote a lengthy post on a separate thread, and just as I typed the line "I probably shouldn't be going into this much detail, but" I accidently hit a key that deleted everything except the final "t".

I took that as a sign that maybe I should re-think before posting.  I still want to post something about this, and am only searching for the right way to say what I want to say.

Our neighbor's son was bitten by a dog and receive multiple bites to the hands, legs and arms. Please pray for the family.

Now these little non chewing dogs have appeal in this land or urban sprawl, baseball and hot DOGS.  ROn another note, please pray for salvation from horrible people who do horrible things on many more documented articles. thanks jeff
