I can even remember the phone numbers of both sets of my grandparents. I kind of miss the days when phone numbers started with letters. Is there a specific term for those lettered prefixes? IDK. The starting letters for my grandparents' numbers were MO, which stood for Mohawk. My childhood home number started with SK for Skyline.

I kept an old, pink rotary dial phone for years, but finally sold it at a garage sale about 10 years ago. My youngest daughter has an old turquoise rotary dial phone.

I forgot about him! Where'd he go? He could get hateful at times, but seemed to have a nice side, too.

We might have chased him off. It got pretty heated back in the first DT run. But I vaguely remember him saying he was moving and would not have internet? But I dont remember why he was moving or maybe I have him confused with crowcamp?

OK, RB has me beat on coming from a poor family. We were poor, but we had a phone.

A good friend of mine had a party-line at their house. IDK why, but that thing was intimidating to me.

I had a friend with  party line also. But I never called it, I had to wait for them to call me.... and back then we had about 2 minutes of talk then were done.

IF the neighbors had any left over! I DO REMEMBER waiting for our neighbors to finish eating so we could, NOT often but do remember a time or two.
