We are glad you have decided to be a part of this discussion board.  I hope you will find the discussions here a learning, sharing, and very enlightening experience.  The differences in views expressed here are quite refreshing to me, personally.

I can sympathize with the back problems as I have also been through many bouts with mine, but not to the extent you are going through right now.  I fractured one vertebra and crushed two many years ago when I was thrown from a horse while helping on a cattle ranch in S. Texas.  As a result, I have yearly bouts with lower back muscle problems that are agrevated by wearing a gun belt with associated gear in my job 8 to 12 hours a day.

I hope you will see better days in the near future that are free from the pain you are experiencing.

Just a short message to introduce myself.  I am married, have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.  I work in the mental health field and am beginning my master's program in January at University of Illinois, Springfield.  :) My emphasis will be in marriage and family from a Christian perspective.  I am taking a distant learning class from the American Association of Christain Counselors to enhance the other classes.
I have been experiencing multiple health problems and had back surgery in October which I am withholding opinion on.  This was my 4th back surgery.
I am a member of the Meredosia Church of Christ and lead the ladies bible study on Friday evenings.
That should be about enough of an introduction.  I look forward to meeting you all through the board. :p

Nice to meet you.  I have been to chiropractors, water therapy(the heated pool was nice!!!) and physical therapy.  When it began to affect my ability to walk, well...............
not much choice left.  But, I know that some day it will be BETTER!
