I sing at a monthly gathering of people who love Southern Gospel - some of the older men had toured in the "Magnolia Quartet", and other groups, for many years.  We use a songbook with a lot of Gaither stuff in it.

My family sings, usually in the car.  That's often the only time in a given week we're all together without some other urgent thing to do, in the car "going to church".

We attended a small concert of acapella groups last night.  I thought the makeup of two of these groups might be of interest.

One group was a male quartet consisting of a father and his three adult sons.  The father was an elder in his church.  All three sons were deacons in two different churches.  I was inspired by their music, but much more inspired by their family. I told the father, "I'll bet there are not very many fathers who are blessed to sing in a gospel quartet with their own three sons."

The other group, also a male quartet, was so inspiring.  Their ages:  72, 71, 70 and 69.  They have been singing together, the same four men, for 55 years!  They started singing together in Dallas, TX, in 1948.  And they are GOOD!  Two members still live in NE Texas, one lives in Arkansas, and one in West Texas.  They still get together 3 or 4 times a year for practice and concerts.
