No, but prior to the season starting he got a 5 year extension.  If this is how they handle the football franchise, is it any wonder that the Ford Motor Company is doing badly.

Millen has made over 20 million dollars the last four years and got about 20 wins (out of approximately 64 games).  If my QC percentages on my engineering decisions was consistently that low, I bet I would be canned in a heartbeat.

Millen has been taking a lot of heat, but lets be clear he has brought a lot of talent to the Lions over the past 4 years. They really should be 7-4 or 8-3 on top of their division. Everyone is saying how talented the Lions are, well it begs the question, who got them that talent???

His mistakes have been his head coaches, but you can't fault him too much for Mariucci, a guy who had a great track record before coming to the Lions. Millen is probably on a short leash though if the next coach doesn't start winning right away.
