Is DeSantis being dishonest about some of his own Covid response? Yes. DeSantis should have been conciliatory to Trump and lay out his own strengths instead of attacking Trump. 

But Trump's handling of Covid was far, far worse.  It makes Trump look like a huge liar and idiot.  He deferred to Fauci many times and gave Fauci a bully pulpit.  Fauci should have been fired.  And then Trump is responsible for pushing the vaccine. 

I won't be voting for DeSantis in the primary.  There is no way he wins it in the first place.  I am voting for RFK Jr in the Dem primary.  Trump will be the Republican nominee short of some disaster.

Trump's covid response was great in a sense, he got the blessed vaccines out in record time. The jabs that got all the tyrannts all giggly. I would have preferred they had done MUCH more testing before releasing the vaccines. The vax mongers were more than happy to have them out sooner. Give a businessman a challenge, he will likely meet the challenge. Mid pandemic was not the time to fire Fauci, it would have caused much undue additional insecurity and panic. Fauci DOES NEED to NOW be in prison as do many others. Biden only tried to ratify and continue the Covid tyranny. Fauci would forever be immortalized if be was fired by "Trump the Horrible". It was better that his lies be naturally exposed separate from Trump's accusing finger as is a lot of the Deep State shennanigans.

Here's my take:

The powers-that-be are aiming to massively reduce the world's population via an engineered virus in the not-so-distant future.  COVID was not their attempt to do so; it was just the test-run.

That test-run was in many ways a failure.  The world did not react as expected; it OVERreacted.  They will have to re-calculate before deploying.
