Listening to Richard Baris earlier and he makes an excellent point. He said this time, it's different. The VP choice must be someone the Deep State and Establishment GOP fears as much as they fear Donald Trump.

I agree, and that really shortens the list.

IMO, the Deep State would fear Vivek the most out of any of the possibilities.

Thoughts?

I still don't think we know the people Trump is considering for VP. I don't think Vivek will phase the Deep State in the least. Trump is going to keep us guessing for a lot longer I believe. In this election the VP selection will have little to no impact as it might have had in the past. I DO think his eventual selection will be to a certain extent an oh crap moment for the Establishment.

Very Yuge.

Who would be the best pick:

Texas Conservative.  Then in 2028, I TAKE power.

Certainly not Abbot.  He isn't different enough from Haley in my opinion.

Well  maybe we can tap Fetterman... He at least is going against the grain recently

Ok, my guesses for now-

If he wants to bring others (Independent,Libertarians, suburban women) my guess is Tulsi.
If he wants to bring someone that has his back and will fight the Deep State and GOPe -  my guess is Vivek.

Others who the Deep State and GOPe wouldn't appreciate-

Matt Gaetz?
Jim Jordan?

Oh, and interesting point-
Rather anecdotal but ALL Trump supporters I know who are under 30 want him to pick Vivek. He really appeals to younger people, both male and female. That could upset the power hungry in our government.

Vivek is really smart and I view him with suspicion like I did Trump in 2016.  Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Not with Gaetz or Jordan.  Jordan talks big game.  Gaetz just seems creepy.

I like a lot of what Tulsi brings to the table when it comes non-social issues.

Since I believe the Deep State had a lot to do with JFK and RFK assasinations, RFK Jr would probably strike fear in their hearts. Not advocating Trump pick RFK Jr, but based on the question who would they fear most, I think RFK Jr would definitely fit that bill because he thinks the Deep State was involved in both assasinations. I do as well. Also the DNC has very publicly dissed RFK Jr as a potential candidate in the Democrat primaries against O'Biden. Also Trump is perpetually dissed by the Establishment Uniparty. Makes for strange enemies and stranger bedfellows!

Jaime, I think you're right. RFK Jr would strike fear into the alphabet agencies. Like you, not advocating for him, but he'd definitely fit the bill of someone most likely to scare them up.

I think so too.  Big Pharma and the Food Industry both hate/fear him, and I think he has enemies in Oil/Energy as well.  Hated by every corporate oligarchy, and that's who's pulling the strings, I think.

Jaime

In addition, I think the DNC KNOWS he has a lot of creds with Democrat  voters and for the Deep State, he would be like kryptonite to them and the likes of Fauci and the rest of the vax advocates. That whole sordid tale would implode with RFK Jr in a position of power. Other than that, I don't know where be stands on the subject of Aliens and UFOs.  ::smile::
