No, I'm still for Kennedy.

I don't see Kamala as an upgrade on Biden.  Changing the sock-puppet doesn't change the hand underneath.

Trump hasn't done anything to ingratiate himself, either.  Vance is looking like a poor pick for VP, and he's threatened to appoint a former Blackrock CEO to his cabinet.

I have to vote for Harris to save democracy.  She is smart, and by electing a black woman to become President, we will prove we are not a racist country.

If Trump is elected, white supremacy will reign supreme. Project 2025 will be enacted and all sorts of evils will be done.  Like resurrecting Pizza Hut buffets and those monstrous red cups.

I like Pizza Hut and was very upset when my local one shut down but still travel a little further to get my super supreme pizza

Used to be our favorite pizza place, but nowadays it's barely a shell of its former self... not even worth visiting for the nostalgia

Project 2025 seeks to change that.

No, I'm for Trump still.

I'm feeling doubtful that he'll win, though.  ::frown::

I know because they all are almost genuflecting before Queen Kamala.

Every single poll in every state if you remove abortion has Trump way ahead in things like economy and border control and such... yet the
_______s have her now leading by 1 to 3 points.

IOW They say Trump is better but wont vote for him.

What idiots.

And those who are going the RFK route deserve what they get if DT does not win.

It is amazing to me the difference it's made swapping out Biden for Harris has made in perception.

America hated Joe because he ruined the economy, sold-out to corporate interests, trashed border security, and tried to start WW3.  All of those things STILL apply to Kamala, but somehow she's better?  I guess she can stand for more than 30 minutes at a time and make mostly coherent sentences?

I'll assume that's for me.

A Trump presidency fixes the foreign policy problems - it avoids WW3 and shores up the border.  But it won't help with the domestic problems.  Trump is (still) big business.  One only has to look at his cabinet appointments to see it.  Everyone there is a former CEO of a big business... Fauci is exhibit A, but it's literally every position.

As I see it, the two biggest domestic problems are (1) the price of food, and (2) the cost of real estate.  Problem #1 has been caused by a few corporate interests (Bill Gates, the PRC, notably) buying up farmland and driving small farmers out of business.  Problem #2 has been caused by Blackrock buying up a ton of real estate, and by the inflation caused by printing fiat money.

So, yes, I will be voting for the candidate who wants to prop-up small farmers, and wants to prosecute big businesses and kick them out of government... not the one who keeps appointing them to prominent positions in his administration.

You are entitled to vote for who you want.

I still  like Tulsi and if there is no chance for DT I will write her name in.

That means both of us are handing a vote to Kami C

Now you say... the two biggest domestic problems are (1) the price of food, and (2) the cost of real estate....

You must be not hearing any of her campaign....

Kami c will have those fixed on day 1. She guarantees.

I have worked for little business. Did not go far because they did not have the money to allow that...so I became self employed in the mid 1980s.

Every workman or woman I knew working for big business... not talking about the suit end but the people who actually get stuff done.... has retired handsomely on their 401s and pensions.

Sure... lets eliminate the big business. Where do you think the employees are going to go to work. McDs?

No matter.

THIS IS MY LAST ELECTION>

If people are so stupid as to put her and the one who says... and I quote... "Some people call it socialism while others say neighborly"
into office....

Wait until they form their cabinet and wait until day 1 when fist action is to be is to discontinue those detention camps on the border.

If I was not a Christian I might wish an illegal would get her otr her daughter.... It is a thought I have had.... and be it wrong.... so is she

But you all enjoy her... for there are her supporters on here....

I'm hearing more of her campaign than I'd like.  "Kamala is ready" is such an ironic slogan.  It's literally been chosen to re-assure Democratic voters who DOUBT her readiness.

Anyway, she's following the Obama campaign plan - don't say anything of substance, and simply promise everyone anything they want, without saying how it will be accomplished.

The point is NOT to eliminate big businesses.  The point is to curtail their influence on government.

I want Boeing to exist...  I don't want Boeing selling the government defective products and then killing every whistleblower who comes forward.

I want Microsoft to exist... I don't want Microsoft actively trying to put every small software developer out of business, and then fighting anti-trust suits in court for decades and winning them.

I want Google to exist... I don't want Google spying on everyone in the world and selling their personal information to the highest bidder, or manipulating public opinion through selective censorship in favor of one political party.

I want Pfizer and Moderna to exist... I don't want them artificially engineering diseases and releasing them into the population just so they can sell cures, or using the FDA to stop any actual cures from arising that would threaten their profit margins.

I could go on and on... American democracy is controlled by corporate interests and they're using government power to prevent competition.
