Are you voting early?

I've never voted early but was thinking about it yesterday on the first day of early voting in my state. Turning on the local news (which I rarely do) they were showing lines that were crazy long, with people waiting over 2 hours to vote. Plus, we have to go to the county election board to vote early, so driving 25 minutes, parking blocks away, snaking through a long line with a 2 hour wait - I'd rather just vote on Election Day at my precinct that's 1/2 mile away. Even if there's a long line and a wait, I won't have to fight traffic and deal with trying to find parking in a sketchy neighborhood.

I voted early last week at our local supermarket about 4 blocks from our bouse. Line was about 45 minutes long. That was a new one for me in Lubbock.

I voted by mail.

When they send the ballots out to people they email that they are sending them out.

I filled in properly then I hand deliver to my local post office who has a cardboard tray on the counter beside them and they take from me and place there.

Then in about 2, (3 Max) I get another email from the election peopl....

Here I copied it...

I mailed my ballot in a week or more ago.

Dont count Kamala out just yet in PA>

Over 1M Pennsylvania voters have already cast a ballot. Are they mostly blue or red?

Two weeks ago in USA...

LEVITTOWN, Pennsylvania - With Election Day just two weeks away on Nov. 5, more than 11.5% of Pennsylvania's more than 9 million registered voters have returned a mail ballot so far in the all-important 2024 battleground.

Democrats lead Republicans in mail voting in Pa.
Democratic voters lead in both mail ballot requests and ballots returned as of Friday, with that party's voters making up almost 58% of applications and 62% of returned ballots, according to the state's data.

I would say this. If you have the opportunity to mail in or vote early do not risk waiting for the election day.

Some areas in PA had an early day for voting that was to go until 5PM that day but they closed up at 2:30 because of a "machine" glitch.

People were sent home and told they would need to vote on the 5th.

One poor guy who was interviewed said he would not be voting on the 5th because his "girlfriend" was to have their baby that day....

So that is a loss of one for Trump.

You just cannot know what might happen on the election day.

It is too late this year but if you are voting in the future think about what could happen before you wait for the date.

Approximately 1 million of the 1.78 million voters who requested a mail-in or absentee ballots for the presidential election featuring Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and Republican nominee Donald Trump have returned them to their respective county's board of election, according to data from the Pennsylvania Department of State last updated Tuesday morning.

The last map I looked at basically made the winner of Michigan the winner of the election at large.

Little Poopsie,

We all know you follow your own drum beat.

You will lose but he already has been fired by Trump....

So I get both of them  ::cheerleader::

Thank you,

I corrected.

Anyway, we are all to tune in Monday... I suspect late day or evening and
Debbie Dingle will give her call on who will really win.

They say once she calls it she is never wrong.

Wonder if that is for everywhere or only Mich?
