God REALLY didn't like the Amorites

You may remember the Amorites in the Bible as one of those tribes that the Israelites were meant to dispossess on their way into the Promised Land.  Well... it's a little worse than that.  God actually ordered their genocide.

But wait... it gets worse.

There was another group of Amorites to the north.  The Israelites didn't come near them.  God took care of them on His own.  In the 2 centuries leading up to the days of Moses, the northern group of Amorites was (a) hit by a tsunami, (b) endured a drought of nearly a century, (c) invaded by Sea Peoples, (d) sent their army and navy to help allies and both were destroyed, (e) simultaneously were invaded by a force of just 7 ships who burned the city in the absence of their military, and (f) were hit by an earthquake of such severity that it collapsed every building in their city.

They never re-built.  There was nobody left to re-build.  And it all happened basically at the same time Moses was wiping out their southern counter-part.

God REALLY didn't like the Amorites.
