Anyone else experiencing a year of death??

This year has been terrible for deaths in my family and with friends. Anyone else having the same type of year? (I hope not!)

My oldest grandson's mother died in January.
My dad died in June.
My best friend's husband died in October.
A young woman I used to babysit died from cancer in November.
My husband is going downhill really fast. His group of cardiologists say he could drop dead at any moment. Yeah, they're that blunt about it.

I know Rella lost her mom a few weeks ago, but she hasn't mentioned any other deaths.

The only other time I've experienced this much death in one year was in 1971.
That year -
My great-grandparents died (on the same day)
My paternal grandmother died.
My best friend's mother died. She was only 34. Big shock.
That was four major deaths in one year.

I guess that's the way it goes, though. Didn't they always used to say death comes in threes?

Not looking for sympathy - but you may include some of these people's families in your prayers. Just wanted to know if anyone is having a bad year because of excessive numbers of family or friends passing.

I know a number of people who died this past year, though my mom is the only relative.

But a neighbor woman died, the wife of one of the men who put on our addition died.

and3 others who are slipping my mind right now... and I thought
all year long it seemed so odd.

Oh I know,  , your dad mommydi was one of the three I could not remember. Oops, gotta add a distant relative not too long ago.

So yes... seems like an epidemic of sorts.
